Job Summary
He is going to join the team and be part of the food preparation and serving team for patients on locum, with 1 day off per week.
Job Details
- Deliver meals, snacks, and beverages to patients in wards according to prescribed diets.
- Verify patient meal trays against dietary instructions.
- Ensure meals are served at the correct temperature and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients, where necessary, with opening food containers or setting up trays.
- Collect used trays, crockery, and cutlery after meals and return them for cleaning.
- Report any patient feedback, complaints, or issues with meals to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food trolleys, trays, and serving equipment.
- Follow hospital infection control and food safety standards strictly.
- Support the nutrition team in monitoring food consumption if required.
- Show courtesy, patience, and empathy when interacting with patients.
Requirements
- Diploma in Catering or a related field.
- At least 1 year experience in hotels service.
- Previous experience in healthcare catering or patient meal service is an advantage.
- Previous experience in healthcare catering or patient meal service is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of nutrition and special diets.
